‘Laughing Tears’ is a tragicomedy about Roland, a young man who can’t express his emotions normally: He forgot how to cry and laughs instead.

His infliction stems from his strict upbringing. Living with a father who believed little boys should never cry, Roland learnt to hold back his tears. Because of this Roland finds himself in unpleasant and awkward situations. After years of suffering Roland decides to learn how to cry again, with the help of his distant neighbor Josephine, he finally succeeds.
